1. You can take a canon character or make an oc. OC's may not be related to canons without permission from their player.
2. You can have up to TEN characters total, only 1 Shepard crew member per person. After those 10, please notify a staff member, so that they can verify that activity is kept up with the present characters.
2A. You can create BIOTIC powers only. Other powers, such as tech, are not included on the list due to the fact anybody can learn them. No biotic can create a 'force choke' sort of move on a non-biotic character without their permission; likewise, no instant death or powers that deal city-leveling damage.
3. Don't shame people for what they choose to do with their characters and what they play as.
4. If a character is changing due to actions in RP or backstory, keep their basic personality, and adapt, but never, and I mean never, ever make a character so different as to be unrecognizable. To completely warp a character you’ll need serious back-story and explanations or you can just get a new character to do what you want with them.
5. You can create your own alien race; I don't want to see Xenomorphs or Na'Vi here, or a recolored Pokémon with a different name. Races cannot be a huge threat to the galaxy nor be more advanced than the Reapers.
6. If you do have permission to control or kill someone else's character, let everyone know first. That way we don't have people misunderstanding things.
7. Characters of all genders and identities are allowed; it's more taboo for an alien to sleep with a human than it is to change gender. However, just because a person's character is homophobic, does not mean their player is and that we tolerate that behavior ooc.
8. To quote Ivan Drago, "If he dies, he dies". Dead characters will stay dead; no clones, ghosts, ect. Exist.
9. Canons are to stay true to how they are in the games in terms of personality and history; changes in personality must be gradual. If the characters history is unknown, you may make it up until the point where the character is introduced in the games, so long as it makes sense.
10. We do not accept child characters under 11 years old. If your characters choose to have children, they must be played by the parent characters together as npc's, after they turn 11 they will need to have their own accounts or remain as npcs.
